Microsol is one of the major organizations in Tyrian, and the main villains of the game.
Story
The largest company in the sector, Microsol is responsible for the manufactoring of weapons and terraformation of planets. Their main base of operations is on Ixmucane, though all of ther major research is done on the Gryphon Station. Microsol seeks to achieve a monopoly over energy resources and to eventually take over the sector. For this reason, they have turned their sights on the recently terraformed Tyrian, as the Gravitium ore existing there would allow them to make super-fast starships.
Microsol is constantly targeting the hero Trent Hawkins due to his knowledge of the Gravitium, sending their forces after him and eventually killing his parents with a thermal blast.
